Becoming an adult the tradition of Deb was very different to what it is in today's modern era. We teach the participants about being on time, respect and responsibility, not just for yourselves but for your fellow participants, some you may have known at the beginning of Bed lessons and others you may not have known.
Not at all, we find that a lot of schools near us in the Southeast Suburbs of Melbourne no longer host Debs. We encourage you to take part with your friends, whether that is from school or outside.
Our dance lessons are held in the City of Casey, usually in the suburb of Berwick. Prior to registering you will know which facility your lessons will be held at. The lessons take place over a 5 week period. You are required to attend all 6 lessons as they are compulsory.
We require each family of a Debutante to purchase a minimum of 6 tickets for the event. Our venue can seat up to 600 guests per event and we seat a maximum of 12 guests per table.
All Female debutantes are required to wear a pure white gown, that represents modesty. Male debutantes will be provided a full suit as a part of your fees. Events by SEPE can recommend services upon request.
